Abstract

Industri Mikro dan Kecil (IMK) memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi regional melalui penciptaan lapangan kerja dan peningkatan aktivitas ekonomi masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, perlu diketahui beberapa variabel yang menentukan output IMK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berbagai variabel yang mempengaruhi output IMK. Objek penelitian adalah provinsi-provinsi di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera. Data penelitian berupa data sekunder tahun 2015-2024 yaitu data output IMK, Infrastruktur Jalan, Inflasi, Upah Minimum Provinsi, dan Pendidikan. Sumber data yaitu Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia dan Kementerian Keuangan Republik Indonesia. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel. Untuk pemilihan model regresi terbaik apakah Common Effect Model/Fixed Effect Model/Random Effect Model dilakukan melalui pendekatan uji chow, uji hausman, dan lagrange multiplier dan diperoleh hasil bahwa model terbaik adalah Fixed Effect. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel infrastruktur jalan, Upah Minimum Provinsi, dan Pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap output IMK, sedangkan inflasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap output IMK. Namun, secara simultan, seluruh variabel independen tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap output Industri Mikro dan Kecil di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera. Oleh karena itu, pembangunan infrastruktur jalan perlu ditingkatkan sampai ke daerah pelosok sehingga dapat mendukung pertumbuhan IMK, kebijakan kehati-hatian dalam penetapan UMR sehingga tidak merugikan pekerja maupun industri, serta peningkatan jumlah penduduk yang berpendidikan SMA ke atas.
