PERJALANAN MENUJU GREEN LIVING : SEBUAH STUDI KUALITATIF TENTANG MOTIVATION, BARRIERS, AND LIFESTYLE CHANGE
Abstract
Perubahan gaya hidup menuju green living merupakan salah satu respons terhadap perubahan iklim yang semakin mendesak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi motivation, barriers, dan lifestyle changes individu dalam mengadopsi pola hidup berkelanjutan di Kalimantan Timur. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap 15 informan yang mewakili berbagai segmen masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi utama individu untuk beralih ke gaya hidup hijau adalah kesadaran akan dampak negatif perubahan iklim, peningkatan kualitas hidup, serta keinginan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan. Namun, terdapat beberapa hambatan, seperti harga produk ramah lingkungan yang lebih tinggi, keterbatasan akses terhadap produk hijau, serta kebiasaan konsumsi yang sulit diubah. Di sisi lain, dukungan sosial dan kebijakan pemerintah, seperti insentif untuk produk ramah lingkungan, terbukti mempercepat adopsi gaya hidup ini. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya sinergi antara pemerintah, sektor swasta, dan masyarakat untuk mengurangi hambatan dan mempercepat transisi menuju green living di Kalimantan Timur. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam merancang strategi yang lebih efektif untuk mendorong perilaku konsumen yang lebih ramah lingkungan.
