KEMISKINAN TRANSPORTASI DAN KEBAHAGIAAN DI INDONESIA
Abstract
Kebahagiaan merupakan salah satu pengukuran kesejahteraan sebagai alternatif menggantikan PDB yang memiliki beberapa kelemahan. Pengukuran kebahagiaan dalam studi ekonomi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yang berkaitan dengan utilitas, salah satunya adalah kemiskinan transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kemiskinan transportasi terhadap kebahagiaan di Indonesia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari data IFLS 5 (2014) dengan 11.1117 observasi terpilih pada tingkat individu dan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan tingkat kebahagiaan individu sebagai variabel tak bebas (ordinal), sehingga metode yang digunakan adalah ordered logit. Secara umum, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa mereka yang tinggal dalam rumah tangga yang miskin transportasi akan memiliki peluang yang lebih rendah untuk merasakan kebahagiaan yang lebih baik. Selain itu mereka yang memiliki kendaraan serta menerima tunjangan trnasportasi akan memiliki preferensi yang lebih banyak untuk transportasi sehingga meningkatkan kebahagiaan.
