THE IMPACT OF EMOTIONAL QUOTIENT ON ADAPTIVE PERFORMANCE IN GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS WITH ADVERSITY QUOTIENT SERVING AS A MEDIATING

Abstract

Perubahan signifikan terjadi dalam konteks kelembagaan pemerintahan, termasuk redistribusi jabatan dan sistem kerja. PNS kini diharapkan mampu menghadapi dan mengelola perbedaan yang timbul akibat perubahan tersebut. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pentingnya Emotional Quotient dalam konteks institusi pemerintah mengenai Adaptive Performance, dengan menekankan pada peran mediasi dari adversity quotient. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengeksplorasi pengaruh secara langsung dan tidak langsung melalui mediasi, dengan menggunakan teknik analisis jalur dengan Smart PLS (versi 4). Proses pengumpulan data melibatkan tiga skala variabel penelitian dan partisipasi 193 karyawan sebagai responden. Analisis data menunjukkan adanya pengaruh langsung dan peran mediasi yang berpengaruh dalam memediasi kedua variabel, sehingga keempat hipotesis diterima. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi organisasi dan praktisi psikologi di berbagai industri dan institusi.
