PENGARUH HUMAN RESOURCE PRACTICE TERHADAP TURNOVER INTENTION DENGAN ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT DAN ORGANIZATION ENGAGEMENT SEBAGAI MEDIASI
Abstract
Sumber daya manusia di dalam perusahaan merupakan aset tertinggi yang ada di suatu perusahaan, oleh karenanya, pentingnya perusahaan untuk memprioritaskan berbagai kegiatan dan aktivitas manajemen sumber daya manusia dengan tepat. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari human resource practice yang terdiri dari career management, pay satisfaction, person job-fit, performance appraisal dan job control terhadap turnover intentiondengan organizational commitment dan organization engagement sebagai mediasi. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian kausal komparatif (Causal-Comparative Research) dengan total populasi atau sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 330 karyawan hotel bintang 4 atau 5 di Kota Batam. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa enam dari dua belas hipotesis yang diajukan diterima, variabel person job-fit dan performance appraisal memiliki pengaruh terhadap organizational commitment. Career managementdan performance appraisal memiliki pengaruh terhadap organization engagement. Variabel organizational commitment dan organization engagement juga memiliki pengaruh terhadap turnover intention
