Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of working capital management and working capital strategy on the company's financial performance at various stages of the company's life cycle for the 2007-2020 period. The sources collected from this research are secondary data in the form of financial data reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2007-2020. The total sample that meets all the specified criteria is 446 companies that carry out the observation period used is 4,154 observations. Our results show that the effect of working capital management is indifferent on each firm life cycle stages. Moreover, the results also show that working capital strategy has a negative effect on financial performance, specifically on firms in introduction stage.
