ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN LEAN HEALTHCARE UNTUK IDENTIFIKASI WASTE PADA POLI SPESIALIS KANDUNGAN DI RUMAH SAKIT X

Abstract

Rumah sakit memiliki kewajiban untuk terus berbenah dan belajar dari kesalahan. Tak hanya hidup dan mati yang dipertaruhkan setiap harinya, namun juga sistem operasional yang terkait dengan eror, masalah, maupun kesempatan belajar lainnya dalam upaya memberikan pelayanan terbaik. Sebelumnya, rumah sakit hanya bergantung pada tenaga kesehatan ahli, dengan sedikit pertimbangan pada kegagalan dari sisi operasional dan organisasi yang terjadi selama proses penyampaian layanan kesehatan. Hal tersebut memicu munculnyaberagam wasteyang menjadi penyebab menurunnya kualitas sehinggaleanhealthcare dihadirkan. Penelitian ini berfokus padaidentifikasiwaste pada unit layanan spesialis kandungan rumah sakit X dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan metode 5 why’s digunakan sebagai alat dalam analisa leanhealthcareyang dilakukan. Hasilnya, terdapat sekitar 87 persen aktivitas masuk ke dalam kategori tidak bernilai tambah dengan pemborosan terbesar adalah pada proses yang terus berulang (overprocessing) dengan bobot 3.5 dan terkecil pada pergerakan (motion) yang tidak perlu sebesar 1.5. Process activity mapping dipilih menjadi tools untuk analisa detailed mapping. Sedangkan analisa 5 why’s digunakan untuk mengetahui akar penyebab dari pemborosan yang terjadi, sehingga pengembangan perbaikan sistem dapat dilakukan.
